Qinghai-Tibet Railway -- Lhasa River Bridge

The Lhasa River Bridge (opened to traffic in June 2005) is a landmark project of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. It has a total length of 928.85 meters and a span of 108 meters. The main bridge adopts a five-span continuous bridge and a middle three-span continuous steel arch combination system. The main span adopts a double-layer curved arch structure, and the extra-large special-shaped pier column formwork is 10 meters high and 3.3 meters wide. The project won the 2007 China Construction Engineering Award-Luban Award.
