The Beijing section of Jingxiong Expressway starts from the Fifth Ring Road, crosses the Yongding River to the west, enters Fangshan District, mainly along the Jingshi Passenger Dedicated Line to the south, and ends at the city boundary to connect with the Hebei section. As can be seen from the public route map, the Jingxiong Expressway will pass between Changyang and Liangxiang in Fangshan District, which is more consistent with the flow direction of Xiaoqing River. A total of 5 interchange and entrances and exits are planned along the route, and 1 interchange is reserved. The total length of the route is about 27 kilometers.

Beijing Section

The Beijing section of Jingxiong Expressway starts from the Fifth Ring Road, crosses the Yongding River to the west, enters Fangshan District, mainly along the Jingshi Passenger Dedicated Line to the south, and ends at the city boundary and connects with the Hebei section. On February 27, 2019, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transportation announced that the design plan of the Jingxiong Expressway (Beijing Section) project has been approved. The Jingxiong Expressway connecting Xiongan New area starts from the South Fifth Ring Road in Beijing and ends with the Hebei section, with a total length of about 100 kilometers, including 28 kilometers in Beijing and 72 kilometers in Hebei. The road class is an expressway with a design speed of 100 to 120 kilometers per hour and eight lanes in both directions. 8 interchanges are designed for the whole line. After the completion of the project, xiong'an new area and Beijing will be connected by expressways to build a one-hour service circle traffic framework to carry the future traffic between xiong'an new area and Beijing. A new radiation line will be added to the southwest of Beijing to ease the existing traffic pressure in the southwest of Beijing. Drive the development of surrounding groups and provide a new fast track for foreign contacts in the areas along the route.

On March 10, 2019, the design scheme of Jingxiong Expressway (Beijing Section) was approved by the Municipal Planning and Land Commission. The starting point of this section is the Southwest Fifth Ring Road, which turns to the south after Yongding River, the south side of Paddy Field Group and Jingshen Road. It is arranged along the east side of Beijing-Shijiazhuang Passenger Dedicated Line and connects with the Hebei section line from the west side of Xichang Village, the east side of Datao Village and the west side of Xinlizhuang Village to the city boundary of the destination. The total length of the road is about 27km, with a total investment of 18.7 billion.

Hebei Section

The main line of the Hebei section of the Jingxiong Expressway starts from the Beijing-Hebei boundary of Dongdaxingzhuang Village, Zhuozhou City, and is connected to the Beijing section of the Jingxiong Expressway. The route is 69.462 kilometers long. The branch line starts from the Beijing-Hebei boundary (Yongding River), is connected with the Beijing section, and ends with the main line in the north of Yihezhuang Township. The route is 5.570 kilometers long. Among them, the two-way eight-lane expressway standard is adopted for the interchange section from the starting point of the main line to Sizhuang hub, and the two-way six-lane expressway standard is adopted for the interchange section from Sizhuang hub to the end point of the main line, with a design speed of 120 km/h. The whole section of the branch line adopts the standard of two-way eight-lane expressway with a design speed of 120 km/h.
