It is difficult to learn reference experience and the challenge is small.
It is said that the west and west tower foundations of Lingdingyang Bridge all use pile group foundation structure. The tower foundation is 56 bored piles, with a total of 112 piles in the two towers, in a plum blossom layout. It erodes granite bearing stratum into the tower. It has the characteristics of small pile diameter, shallow rock depth, simple geological conditions (the west tower foundation must pass through the erosion debris zone, and the small piles are 140 meters long), and the drilling difficulty is small. The foundation of the main tower of Zhongshan Bridge is laid out with 28 bored piles, with a total of 56 piles for the two towers. After the completion of the drill bit, the process of lowering the reinforcement cage and concrete pouring will be carried out at intervals, and all pile foundation works will be completed in September 2020.
As the key hidden works of the bridge, the quality of pile foundation works indirectly agrees with the durability, safety and service life of the bridge. Compared with the bridge pile diameter of the regular land section, which is mostly about 1.5 to 2 meters, the bridge in the shallow middle passage sea section uses 3 meters of super-large diameter bored piles, which have smaller and smaller bearing capacity and rigidity.
