On October 24, the final of the city's workers' vocational skills competition sponsored by the Baoding Federation of Trade Unions was launched in Baoding. In the welder final of the opening drama, 54 welders from 18 counties (cities, districts) in Baoding City showed their unique skills, demonstrating the craftsman spirit and superb skills of the majority of welders.

The competition aims to promote the construction of an army of knowledge-based, skilled and innovative workers, give full play to the positive role of vocational skills competition, cultivate high-skilled craftsman talents, and provide talent guarantee and skill support for the construction of Baoding in the new era. Focusing on the optimization and upgrading of our city's advantageous traditional industries and the development needs of strategic emerging industries, and focusing on the needs of talents in short supply, this year's employee vocational skills competition has identified four types of work competition projects, namely welder, automobile repairman, inkstone carving, and Chinese medicinal materials Identification and identification.
