The first phase of Wuhu Rail Transit Line 1 and Line 2 has a total length of 46.763 kilometers and 36 stations. The system adopts a straddle monorail system with a maximum operating speed of 80 kilometers. The estimated total investment of the project is about 14.633 billion yuan. It is expected to start trial operation in January 2020. Track beam is mainly divided into vehicle base simply supported beam, main line simply supported beam, main line continuous rigid frame beam, each type is divided into straight beam and curve beam. Due to the superposition of different parameters such as beam length, horizontal curve, vertical curve, superelevation value and pre-camber, there are no two identical beams. The concrete of PC track beam is not allowed to be repaired and painted, and the top and side surfaces of the formed beam body are the channels for tires to travel. Unlike traditional precast beams, it is impossible to adjust a certain size through the pavement layer.

4, the production line configuration is complex.
Wuhu Rail Transit adopts Bombardier monorail technology, and uses a series of international advanced and domestic new technologies and new processes-track innovation adopts a continuous rigid frame bridge system with a maximum span of 30 meters, which is the first case in China.
In the construction of straddle type monorail, PC track beam production and precision control is the key technology of the whole system. PC track beam in the load-bearing structure at the same time both guiding function, its linear control requirements of high precision, prefabricated track beam line directly determines the monorail train running state.
Wuhu city rail transit manufacturing is very difficult, belongs to the steel PC rail beam, the first batch of continuous rail beam mode project, after the future operation, the line is more stable, the accuracy is very high. The number of prefabricated track beams on Wuhu Rail Transit Line 1 is about 2900, and the number of prefabricated track beams on Line 2 is 1660, totaling 4560.
On the morning of November 10, 2007, Wuhu Rail Transit's first PC rail beam in China began to be poured in Baoshun Road Beam Factory. Taking this as a starting point, this straddle light rail project entered the actual construction stage.
The straddle-type monorail transportation has the advantages of low noise, strong climbing ability, small turning radius, fast and convenient, small land occupation, low cost, and environmental protection. The smooth pouring of the first PC rail beam in Wuhu rail transit in China means that Wuhu light rail construction has officially entered the beam-making stage.
