Accropode Block

Accropode blocks are widely used special-shaped precast concrete units in marine engineering projects.

• Structural Characteristics
An accropode has three arms. The middle arm is rotated 90 degrees to intersect perpendicularly with the two side arms, connected by short columns to form a twisted I-shape structure. Its unique shape enables multi-surface interlocking, effectively improving the overall stability and impact resistance of the whole revetment structure.

• Material Performance
Manufactured from high-strength cement concrete via mould casting, the product features high density, outstanding wear resistance and corrosion resistance, perfectly adapting to harsh marine environments.

• Functions & Applications
It is mainly applied in wave dissipation and shore protection. It can effectively disperse wave energy, reduce slope erosion and protect the lives and property of coastal people. Meanwhile, the gaps between blocks provide habitats for marine organisms to improve coastal ecological di
