Dubai Metro Blue Line

  The Dubai Metro Blue Line stretches 30 kilometers in total with a designed service life of 120 years. Its total investment stands at approximately 20.5 billion UAE dirhams, equivalent to about 5.6 billion US dollars or 56 billion Chinese yuan.
The whole route consists of 15.5 kilometers of underground sections and 14.5 kilometers of elevated sections. Multiple beam structures are adopted in construction, including double-track simply supported U-beams, single-track simply supported U-beams, double-span continuous double-track U-beams, as well as three-span or four-span continuous double-track composite beams combining U-shaped and box sections. The line is scheduled to be completed and put into operation on September 9, 2029.

A total of around 3,837 precast segments are required for the Dubai Metro Blue Line.

The pouring of the first segment of the Dubai Metro Blue Line was successfully completed on November 15, 2025.

Constructor: A joint venture formed by three renowned enterprises, namely two Turkish companies (MAPA and Limak) and CRRC Corporation Limited from China.
